A Korean sushi bowl called Hwe Dup Bap is a tasty mix of fresh sashimi, vegetables, and sushi rice with a spicy-sweet sauce. This dish is great for sushi fans because it has a lot of different tastes and textures.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sushi rice, cooked
- 4 ounces sashimi-grade tuna, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces sashimi-grade salmon, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, julienned
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean red chili paste
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl
Add soy sauce and mix them all together
Start by putting sushi rice in the bottom of a large bowl
Cut up the cucumber, avocado, green onions, tuna, and salmon and put them on top of the rice
Pour the sauce that you made over the food
Toasted sesame seeds can be added on top
Add pepper and salt to taste
Serve right away and enjoy
