Ingredients:
- 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until well coated
Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
Preheat grill to medium-high heat
Thread shrimp onto skewers, if using wooden skewers make sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes prior to grilling
Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque
Remove shrimp from grill and garnish with fresh cilantro
