Ginger Peach Green Smoothie

This Paleo-friendly green smoothie has the refreshing and nourishing flavors of ginger, peach, and green spinach. Its the ideal way to fuel up for the day or recover from exercise.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 ripe peach, peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach leaves

Take the ripe peach and pit it

Cut and peel the raw ginger

In a blender, combine the spinach, peach, ginger, banana, coconut milk, and water

Add honey for sweetness if desired

If you would like your smoothie colder, add ice cubes

Blend until creamy and smooth, making sure to fully incorporate all of the ingredients

Taste and add more honey or coconut milk to adjust sweetness or thickness as necessary

Transfer into a glass and serve right away
